ABOUT THE COURSE

​Developed by the Center for Global Health at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Zhu Family Center for Global Cancer Prevention at the Harvard. T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Global Cancer Learning Lab PROject Management Oversight Training and Education (PROMOTE) course aims to maximize the rigor of cancer research by training researchers and project managers to develop, implement, and manage research projects, providing tools to find funding, prepare a proposal, and set up and manage their awards. The global training is appropriate for principal investigators and support staff who wish to build their career in cancer research. There is no cost to participate in the training.

​WHO SHOULD APPLY?

 

Researchers, clinicians, and project staff involved in a wide range of research areas, including clinical, public health, biomedical, and implementation science. Applicants from a broad range of professional and geographic backgrounds are invited to apply.​​​​

 

COURSE STRUCTURE

  • 4 Modules | 24 Lectures | Self-paced

  • Asynchronous online format via the Canvas Learning Management System

  • Includes readings, quizzes, and a discussion forum

  • Certificate of Completion
